Ceil M. Benes, 90, of Batavia, died Wednesday in her home. Born in Czechoslovakia, and formerly of Downers Grove, Mrs. Benes was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Edward; a daughter, Judi Lakner; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Rd., Western Springs.
