Michael G. Macko, 67, of Batavia, died Wednesday in the Vencor Hospital in Sycamore. Mr. Macko served in the Air Force for six years as a staff sergeant in Korea. He worked for Alumax in West Chicago for 40 years, until his retirement in 1994. Survivors include his wife, Irene; two sons, Gary and Steve; a daughter, Lisa Ashmore; two sisters; and three grandchildren. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main St., Batavia.
