Paul Gutierrez, 75, of Mt. Prospect, a retired machinist for Bell & Howell Inc., died Wednesday in Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights. Mr. Gutierrez, who was born in Topeka, Kan., was a World War II Army veteran. He served on the Mt. Prospect Senior Citizens Advisory Council. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; three stepchildren, Paula Siplon, Terry Swanson and Thomas Swanson; two brothers, Edmund and Ralph; and many grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect.
