Your newspaper has inaccurately described state Sen. Chris Lauzen’s campaign for comptroller. I resent your statement that Lauzen volunteers are abortion opponents and gun-rights supporters.
I am neither and am one of Lauzen’s hardest-working volunteers. Also, of the scores of volunteers I have recruited for the Lauzen campaign, only about 25 percent would be in either category.
This campaign is not about either of those issues anyway. Comptroller is a fiscal and accounting office, and Chris Lauzen in the most qualified, experienced and dedicated servant among all of the candidates for this office.
