I find it very interesting that many among the news media and the American public have taken the position that they are not concerned about President Clinton’s private behavior. They seem to hold the belief that his job performance is all that matters.
I wonder, though: Is there any line that they might draw concerning private behavior? For example, what if his sexual liaisons were with a male intern? Or what if he “privately” belonged to a whites-only country club? Would this be OK as long as he continued to keep the economy buoyant? Just wondering.
