Thank you for Richard Christiansen’s column on “Seinfeld” (“So Seinfeld is signing off: It’s About time,” March 1). While I can appreciate some of their humor and that some of their characters are funny, a deeper look is important. I have long felt that the flaunting of singles indulging there sexual appetites on a show with such high ratings flew in the face of some decent people in our society who trying to increase moral responsibility among young people.
You have raised our hopes for a higher level of morality in TV programming.
