1. DiCaprio will really grow on you.

The Disney Channel is sailin’ this week with a tribute of sorts to “Titanic” dreamboat Leonardo DiCaprio. The channel is airing special “Growing Pains” episodes that feature Leo. You probably were just a pipsqueak when Leo appeared on the old sitcom; he played Luke, a homeless boy who moved in with the Seaver family. (Everybody was raving about Kirk Cameron in those days.) The show airs on the Disney Channel daily at 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time; look for Leo in episodes today through Monday.

2. Was filming `Titanic’ an epic pain?

If you’re clutching at every Leo souvenir you can find, you’ll wanna grab “The Leonardo DiCaprio Album” ($16, Plexus Publishing). It’s packed with adorable pics and tantalizing tidbits about the superstar. But the book really gets cruisin’ near the end when it starts dishing about “Titanic.” The book was written before the megahit movie was released – and it offers a unique view on the whole filming experience. Basically, according to the book, Leo thought co-star Kate Winslet and director James Cameron were drips; cast members got sick and injured; and the filming was a grueling, unhappy, miserable mess. It makes you wonder: Are these just silly rumors, or are people changing their tune now that the movie is a huge success?
