Sam Scroppo, 77, of Elmhurst, died Monday in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Mr. Scroppo was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Joaquina; two sons, John and Sam; two daughters, Marietta Molony and Judy Conness; three sisters; a brother; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Rd., Elmhurst. Services will begin at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the mortuary. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. in Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 426 N. West Ave., Elmhurst.
