If Barbara Nozzi (“The `I do’ dues II,” Voice, March 16) thinks that a $500 tax deduction “financially rewards” parents for giving birth, she should go out and price diapers, cribs, strollers, high chairs, formula, etc., not to mention a college education 18 years down the road. Parents don’t have children for the money, certainly not for a $500 tax deduction, and Ms. Nozzi certainly isn’t footing one iota of my bills.
