Anna C. Brattan, 96, of Arlington Heights, died Wednesday in Lutheran General Health Center at The Moorings. Mrs. Brattan was a cook at Ignatz and Mary’s Grove Inn in Northbrook before becoming a cook at Prospect Heights Elementary School. Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Stephens; a son, Frank Schwager; a sister, Helen Hunter; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday until services at 11:30 a.m. in Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Mass will be said at noon in St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
