Rosetta Ambrose Foreman, 66, a retired health care finance administrator for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, died Monday of kidney failure. Mrs. Foreman was born and raised in Chicago. A graduate of Roosevelt University, she became a supervisor for the department of Health and Human Services and had devoted 34 years of service to the federal government before retiring in 1990. A social and friendly woman, she was a mentor to many, said her daughter, Rhae Ann Foreman. “She was a person you could easily talk to and who would listen to you and give you advice that was supportive, and that led you on the right path,” her daughter said. Survivors include two other children, Kimberly Daverin and Theo Vernon Foreman; a sister, Rosemary Harth; and five grandchildren. Services were held in Chicago.
