Despite efforts to please neighbors of a proposed west side subdivision, the developer has seen its plan fail to be recommended by the Aurora City Council Planning and Development Committee.
Deerpath Partners has proposed building 16 homes on about a half dozen acres east of Deerpath Road, between Indian Trail Road and Shagbark Lane. After a recent review, the committee sent the plans to the full City Council without a recommendation.
Deerpath Partners initially proposed building a law office and 20 “clustered” homes on the site, but eliminated the law office, reduced the number of homes and proposed a traditional siting plan in response to neighborhood opposition. Under the new proposal, each lot would be at least 16,000 square feet.
