John E. Menich, 72, of Schaumburg, was a World War II Navy veteran and a retired sheet metal worker in the heating and air-conditioning industry. He died Saturday. Survivors include his wife, Dolores; a daughter, Debra McCarthy; a son, John E. II; a brother, Milan; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Michaels Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter Lutheran Church, 208 E. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg.
