Illinois legislators will get an energy lesson from District 15 pupils April 29 when students from all over the state demonstrate how they use technology in the classroom.
Marissa Pearlman and Stacy Weber, 7th graders at Sundling Junior High School in Rolling Meadows, will demonstrate how they helped the school save more than $400 on its electric bill last November.
Dan Stout and Jeff Gregory, also 7th graders at Sundling, will show how to calculate calories by burning a peanut.
Two Sundling teachers, Gary Bartholomew and Jennifer Grabianski, will accompany the students, who will present their projects at an annual technology conference in Springfield.
