Harold E. “Hal” Powell, 46, of Oak Park, died Sunday in Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Born and raised in Newcastle, Ontario, Mr. Powell was a partner and chief financial officer of Chicago-based Quicksilver Association Inc., which designed Web pages, training films and business presentations. Survivors include his companion, Tom Schuver; his parents, Stan and Kay; and three sisters, Beth Markle, Dale Hunt and Judy. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in First United Church of Oak Park, 848 Lake St.
