Lydia Bauer, 87, of Batavia died Wednesday at Michealsen Health Center, a nursing facility in Batavia. Mrs. Bauer was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church, where she was active in various women’s organizations, including the Wayside Cross Women’s Auxiliary, and taught Sunday school. Survivors include two sons, LeRoy and Donald; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Olaf Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1233 Douglas Rd., Montgomery.
