Lorie A. Kreeger, 52, an elementary school teacher in Wauconda School District 118 for 27 years, died Friday in her Barrington home. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Kreeger moved to Barrington in 1955 and graduated from Barrington High School in 1963. She received her bachelor of arts degree from Northern Illinois University in 1967. She was a first-grade teacher at Cotton Creek School in Island Lake. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dennis; and a sister, Carole De Koatz. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 647 S. Dundee Ave., Barrington.
