Robert C. Hill, 82, of Glen Ellyn died Tuesday in Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Born in Chicago, Mr. Hill was a retired machinist for a manufacturing repair business. He was a 1936 graduate of Glenbard High School in Glen Ellyn, a member and usher at St. Petronille Church in Glen Ellyn and served in the Army Air Force in the South Pacific during World War II. Survivors include four sons, Robert, Paul, Jerome and Stephen; two daughters, Janet Driscoll and Mary Ann Simon; nine grandchildren; a brother; and a sister. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Petronille Catholic Church, 420 Glenwood Ave., Glen Ellyn.
