In response to Roger Ebert’s letter on April 26 regarding which critic is tougher on films:
According to statistics covering 120 weeks, compiled by the “Siskel & Ebert” staff, Roger Ebert gave “thumbs up” to more movies in each of the last 2 1/3 years than Gene Siskel, by a margin of 3 to 13 percent per year, 4 percent overall.
