The reference to the Vietnam War in Steve Rosenbloom’s Hit & Run column under “KickBall” (Tribune, April 26) was in poor taste. I understand that he was trying to make a witty comment on the resolve of Americans. However, to make that comment in the context of the Vietnam War is not funny.
Americans died in that war, and they should be honored, not humiliated, for their efforts.
