I have been a regular newspaper reader for many years. During that time, no matter which paper I was reading, I have always noted and enjoyed the “AP” dateline.
Never did I give a thought to the organization behind the letters until now. So I thank you for the brief tribute (“150 years by the Associated Press,” Editorial, April 17) telling of its origin and listing events and reports through the years.
