Erwin A. Rutz, 84, of Clarendon Hills died Sunday in his vacation home in Point Clear, Ala. Mr. Rutz was a retired vice president of First Lien Co. of Chicago and owned Rutz Real Estate in Downers Grove for 52 years. He was a founding member of the Multiple Listing Service of South Central DuPage County. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Trudy; a daughter, Karen Rutz; and a sister. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Christ Lutheran Church, 55th Street and Illinois Highway 83, Clarendon Hills.
