After a year-long political brouhaha, the Chicago Board of Trade has won approval of delivery terms for its grain futures contracts from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The new delivery areas for corn and soybean contracts include broad stretches along the Illinois River. Contrary to the wishes of the Ohio congressional delegation, the new areas do not include Toledo as a delivery point.
