Earl J. Bentley, 84, of St. Charles died Sunday in Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva. A Minneapolis native, Mr. Bentley maintained machinery for General Mills in St. Charles for 35 years before retiring. He was a member of the St. Charles Loyal Order of Moose and St. Patrick Church in St. Charles. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Robert; two daughters, Patricia Royston and Marilyn Reuland; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles, followed by a mass at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 408 Cedar St., St. Charles. A service also will be held Saturday in Minneapolis.
