Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

It seems clear to me that greed and money rule the NBA. Take the Bulls, for example. Here you have a team that is a total disgrace to the storied traditions of the league.

First you have Scottie Pippen, who bickers, cries and complains about management. Then you have Dennis Rodman, who is a pathetic ripoff of RuPaul. The team has a lame-duck coach who has clearly seen better days–and better players. The most insulting player, one whose better days are clearly over, is Michael Jordan.

Before this season, you never saw Jordan stoop so low as to talk about other players behind their backs. Never before have you seen Jordan act like a coward on the court. But in the April 13 game against the Indiana Pacers, he deliberately threw a ball at the head of the Pacers’ Mark Jackson.

The referees, much like the fans, the city of Chicago and corporate America, continue to kowtow to Jordan. I am bewildered. Jordan has ridden the NBA for all it is worth, and now he is playing it for a joke. The fans of America, the city of Chicago, the NBA and Bulls management deserve better. Michael, your career is calling. It would be the dawn of a new day when players with real talent rule, not ancient players riding on fumes of past glory.
