Joseph C. Smart, 76, of Glendale Heights, died Saturday at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Mr. Smart was a retired truck driver. He was a World War II veteran, having served with the Army. He was a member of VFW Post 2377 of Glendale Heights. Survivors include his wife, Jean; four sons, Michael Brimer, Darrel Brimer, Dale Brimer and Dwayn; seven grandchildren; and two sisters. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 Bloomingdale Road, Glendale Heights. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
