Jacqueline May Boschan, 64, of Palatine, a 27-year employee of the Marshall Field & Co. store at Woodfield Mall, died Monday in Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights. Mrs. Boschan, who was born in Cleveland, worked in the statistical office in Field’s Schaumburg store from 1971 to 1978, when she became supervisor of the bridal registry department. “She was a very fair, dedicated manager,” said Donna Cristo, a colleague at Field’s. “Everyone who worked with her liked her very much.” Cristo said Mrs. Boschan voluntarily relinquished her supervisory position in 1993 to devote more time to her grandchildren. But she continued to work in the department as an associate. Survivors include her husband, Alan; two sons, Michael and Steven; a daughter, Cathy Harkin; a brother, Frank J. Peters; and two grandsons. Prayers will be said at 9 a.m. Thursday in Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. A mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. in St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1152 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine.
