L. Patrick Galway, 78, died Sunday in his Naperville home. Mr. Galway was born in Jordan Center, Wis., and taught children in a one-room schoolhouse before enlisting in the Army during World War II. He served in the Pacific theater during the war and graduated in 1949 from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Mr. Galway worked in sales in the steel industry and later in real estate. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary; three sons, Thomas and Michael and Mark; two daughters, Peggy and Lisa; seven grandchildren; a brother; and three sisters. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Friedrich Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. A service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, followed by mass at 9 a.m. in St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Rd., Naperville. Additional services will be held Saturday in Argyle, Wis.
