It’s full steam ahead for a seven-lot subdivision in Tinley Park after the Village Board granted final approval Tuesday night for a variance for three of those lots.

Lots in the proposed development at 172nd Street and 68th Court, next to the Cobblestone Creek subdivision, meet zoning requirements, but the developer wanted to decrease three parcels from 60 feet wide to 50 to be consistent with the pattern existing on the street.

Builder John Gallagher also has agreed to install an oversized 36-inch storm sewer drain 200 feet beyond his property line, and the village will continue the storm sewer down 68th Court to 173rd Place to ease flooding and drainage problems.
