It all starts this weekend: The pools open with a splash, the festival season kicks off and the bike paths fill with happy riders.
But summer goes by so fast. And in years past, many of us react to September with the refrain, “Where has summer gone? I didn’t get to do anything!”
So this year, Tempo Northwest has given you the resources to be prepared for the most happening time of year. We have put together a summer’s worth of activities in the northwest suburbs and McHenry County, everything from concerts to family events, museum happenings to theme parks. There are things for kids, seniors, art lovers, thespians, athletes and those who just enjoy a concert in the park.
Though we have tried to cover it all, we may have missed a few events. And keep in mind it’s always a good idea to call to make sure schedules haven’t changed.
Take advantage of what your towns have to offer. And enjoy yourself.
