Mildred B. Niermann, 91, of Geneva, died Friday at Geneva Care Center, a nursing facility in Geneva. Born in Windom, Minn., Mrs. Niermann was a graduate of St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago and worked there as a registered nurse for many years after graduation. She also worked at the Bensenville Home for the Aged and the Luther Home in Arlington Heights. Survivors include a son, James; three daughters, Margaret Christner, Joanne Reeder and Carol Olsen; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main St., Batavia.
