Inland Steel Industries Inc. said it will combine with Ryerson Tull Inc. The combination with Ryerson, a metals processor and distributor that is 87 percent-owned by Inland, was disclosed along with an announcement of a definitive agreement for Inland to sell its Inland Steel Co. unit to Ispat International NV for about $1.43 billion.
