Preconstruction sales are under way at River North Commons, a loft condominium and new construction high-rise development at 700 N. Kingsbury St. in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.
Being developed by Enterprise Development Co., River North Commons will include 278 units. Plans for phase one call for a mix of 188 timber beam hard lofts and drywall finished soft lofts in a vintage six-story building.
Two furnished models are open for viewing.
There will be 48 one-bedroom units priced from $127,500 to $160,500; 111 two-bedroom layouts priced from $173,500 to $279,500; and 29 three-bedroom homes priced from $295,500 to $465,500. The more than 45 floor plans range from 818 to 2,390 square feet.

– Preconstruction sales are under way for the 87 condominiums at Heatherfield in north suburban Glenview.
Developed by the James Cos., the community is planned for 308 homes, including single-family, townhouses and row homes. The condominiums will be built in two three-story buildings.
Condo floor plans range from 1,090 to 2,063 square feet and include one to three bedrooms, one to 2 1/2 baths, and parking. They are priced from $199,000 to $395,000.

– Kimball Hill Homes has introduced 75 new home sites at The Country Homes of Kimball Farms, a community in northwest suburban Carpentersville planned for 207 townhouse-style condominiums, priced from $110,990 to $127,990, and 600 single-family homes, priced from $166,990 to $200,990.
Kimball Hill is also offering a $2,000 incentive on selected homes.
Six one- and two-story townhouse floor plans range from 1,000 to 1,470 square feet with two bedrooms, two bedrooms plus loft or three bedrooms. They feature one to 2 1/2 baths, living/dining rooms, eat-in kitchens and attached garages.

– Sheldon Good & Co. will conduct a multiple property auction at 1 p.m. June 20 at Giorgio’s Banquet Hall, 8800 W. 159th St., Orland Park.
Properties to be auctioned include 21 home sites in South Oak Estates in south suburban Oak Forest, with seven sites to be sold absolute regardless of price. Originally priced to $75,000, the lots will have opening bids of $25,000.
Other properties include a 4,200-square-foot model in Fox Hills Estates in southwest suburban Lemont; six new condos in southwest suburban Chicago Ridge; and 10 townhouses in the Lecarro Glen community in southwest suburban Joliet.

– Only 10 home sites remain for sale at Heron Harbor, a wooded community of 78 single-family homes in far north suburban Antioch.
The community features a grove of giant red oak trees, a wetland preserve, ponds and Lake Marie.
Homes on one-third-acre lots are priced from $176,990 to $226,990. Some are available for 30-day delivery.
Ten floor plans, including two ranch designs, range from 1,600 to 2,675 square feet with three to five bedrooms, two to three baths, basements, formal living and dining rooms, family rooms and attached two- or three-car garages.

– Four residences–all corner units–remain at Towne Square in north suburban Skokie, as the Norwood Builders community approaches closeout. Towne Square includes 95 units in two six-story, brick buildings.
The remaining homes include two two-bedroom condos priced at $191,500 and $193,100, and two three-bedroom units priced from $244,325 and $247,900, including upgrades.
