Few people enjoy a good fight more than historians, especially when it comes to dissecting and analyzing a good fight.

Or a bad one. It’s the latter kind that will be up for debate when the Downers Grove Museum conducts its next history forum.

At issue is “Custer’s Last Stand: The Act of a Martyr or Fool?” History buffs are invited to jump into the fray and argue whether the golden-locked Civil War veteran was a genuine hero or an egotistical glory-seeker.

Admission to the forum is $2. Preregistration is required and may be made by calling 630-963-1300.

This session is for adults 19 and older.
