Charlotte E. Ropke, 78, a Lombard resident since 1960, died Sunday in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Ropke was the registrar at Addison Trail High School before becoming secretary to the principal of York High School in Elmhurst. She retired in 1980. Survivors include an aunt; two uncles; and two cousins. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with services at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
