Emily J. Werner, 65, a longtime resident of Medinah, died Tuesday in her home. She was born in Chicago. “She was a wonderful lady,” said her daughter Carla Madej. “Everybody loved her.” Other survivors include her husband of 43 years, Carl; a son, William; a daughter, Deborah; her foster mother, Ila Grienki; a foster sister, Carole Barron; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Services will be at 10:15 a.m. Saturday in Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church, 1331 N. Belmont Ave., Arlington Heights.
