An enclave of 22 semi-custom homes built around a 32-acre conservancy area and called Everett Farm in Lake Forest has begun sales.

R.M. Swanson & Associates offers floor plans with four or five bedrooms and three to four baths. They range from 3,500 to 5,800 square feet on lots ranging from a half acre to one acre. Homes are priced from $950,000. with most of the sites backing up to a nature preserve.

One of the floor plans is the 4,500-square-foot Somerset with four bedrooms and three baths. It features a brick and stucco exterior, divided light windows, and a cedar shingle roof.

Inside, the home has a two-story foyer with circular staircase, living room with stone fireplace, dining room with bay window, and kitchen and breakfast room with center island cooktop. Adjoining the kitchen is the family room with vaulted ceiling, bay window and fireplace. A fireplace with marble surround is also located in the library.

The master bedroom suite offers a vaulted ceiling, walk-in closet and master bath with whirlpool.

– Brittany Builders Inc. has opened sales of its third and final phase of 20 home sites at Bull Ridge, a community of 48 homes on 160 acres in northwest suburban McHenry Township.

The lots in phase three range from 1.4 to 5.7 acres and are priced from $55,000 to $89,000. Brittany floor plans range from 2,500 to 4,500 square feet and include four bedrooms and at least 2 1/2 baths. They are priced from about $300,000 to more than $500,000, including lot. Buyers may also bring in their own architects and contractors, subject to approval.

– The Walnut and Hickory are two new single-family designs at Waterford Oaks in North Aurora, a 70-acre neighborhood with 109 single-family homes and 144 townhouses.

Seven two-story and ranch floor plans offer 1,629 to 2,390 square feet with three to five bedrooms, two to 2 1/2 baths, great room, informal and formal living and dining rooms, basement, and attached two-car garage. Prices range from $156,990 to $186,490.

The 2,390-square-foot floor Walnut can be expanded to 2,421 square feet. Design options include a den, master bath with whirlpool tub, fifth bedroom, extended second floor, and three-car attached garage.

Priced from $186,490, the standard design features a T-shaped staircase in the two-story foyer with a loft overlooking the formal combination living and dining area, which also has a volume ceiling.

The kitchen includes a breakfast nook with built-in pantry and breakfast bar. A laundry room with closet, master suite with two walk-in closets, and full basement also are included.

The Hickory features a two-story foyer with formal living and dining rooms, both with vaulted ceilings. The family room opens to the kitchen and breakfast nook and has a cathedral ceiling and optional loft overlook. Priced from $178,990, the Hickory has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, basement, and a two-car attached garage with storage area.

– Hometown at Oswego Village Square, a Sundance Homes community of 75 single-family homes near downtown Oswego, is discounting the price of two of its floor plans without basements.

Six two-story floor plans range from 1,504 to 1,931 square feet with three or four bedrooms, 1 1/2 to three baths, basements, and attached two-car garages.

One of the two discounted plans is the 1,504-square-foot Maplewood, priced from $119,900. It has three bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, a great room, dining room, country kitchen, family room and two-car garage.

The 1,764-square-foot Chelsea has four bedrooms with den, 2 1/2 baths, two-story foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen with breakfast room, family room, and two-car garage. It is priced from $129,900.

Three models are open for viewing.

– Buyers who purchase one of seven remaining lofts at Erie Centre in Chicago’s River North neighborhood will receive a $3,000 gift certificate good toward home furnishings. Erie Center will include 106 one-story or duplex lofts.

The $3,000 can also be used toward upgraded amenities, such as whirlpool tubs and Corian countertops.

Priced from $233,430 to $393,900, only two-bedroom, two-bath units remain. They range from 1,365 to 2,132 square feet and include island kitchens, woodburning fireplaces, six-foot soaking tubs in master baths, track lighting, balconies, hardwood flooring, central air conditioning, gas forced air heating systems, and wood ceilings, columns and beams with exposed duct work.

– Sales are under way for The Oaks of Barrington, a community planned for 55 single-family homes on the northwest corner of Barrington and Dundee Roads in Barrington.

Sales are being conducted from Lakewood Glen on Dundee Road, west of Quentin Road in Palatine.

Lakewood Homes is offering seven two-story floor plans ranging from 2,541 to 4,166 square feet and priced from $378,000 to $449,000. They feature four or five bedrooms, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths, full basements, and attached two-car garages. Initial occupancies are scheduled for next spring.

– Rick Levin & Associates Inc. will conduct two auctions in June.

One property, lot 44 in Kathryn Lane in Lake Forest, will be auctioned June 23. The 7,100-square-foot two-story brick home has four bedrooms and five baths on a 1.45-acre lot. The home has a a suggested opening bid of $600,000 and will be sold without reserve, subject to approval of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Open houses are 1 to 3 p.m. on Sundays, June 14 and 21, and from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17.

A June 20 auction will feature three single-family homes located at Hickory Cove on Grass Lake in Fox Lake; four waterfront townhouses at the Leisure Point Resort in Fox Lake; two townhouses in the Harper Hill development in Tinley Park; and a 4.5-acre development site at 11100 W. 143rd St. in Orland Park.
