Henrietta K. Johnson, 80, of Meadows, an unincorporated community near Downstate Chenoa, died Saturday in the Hoffman Estates Medical Center. She lived on Chicago’s South Side for many years, until she moved to a retirement home in Meadows. Mrs. Johnson was an active member of the Parent-Teacher Association of Bowen High School, Chicago, for many years. During the 1969-70 Illinois Constitutional Convention, she worked on the campaign for one of the delegates. In the early 1940s, she was a ticket agent for the Chicago North Shore Railroad. Mrs. Johnson is survived by two daughters, Lois Huff and Linda; two sons, Lawrence and Dale; a brother, Herman; and six grandchildren. A private memorial service will take place Saturday in Wheaton.
