It’s only a rumor, but I heard that the Federal Aviation Administration–or the National Transportation Safety Board, or whoever is supposed to be making flying safe for us–while inspecting the insulation on the wires that pass through the fuel tanks of the 737s (wires, I might add, that they apparently forgot were there), spotted some extra knee room in the coach section and gave the airlines permission to put in another row of seats.
