Frank W. Coolidge, 80, of Winnetka died Monday in Wagner Health Care Center in Evanston. Mr. Coolidge, a native of Grosse Pointe, Mich., was a World War II veteran and served four years in the Army’s Counterintelligence Corps and the Manhattan Project, which developed the first atomic bomb. A law graduate from the University of Michigan, Mr. Coolidge worked as secretary and treasurer for his family’s business, Lussky, White & Coolidge, a North Shore upholstery distributor, for many years before retiring in 1992. Mr. Coolidge was an usher for the Winnetka Congregational Church, past president of the Foundation Club of Chicago and curling member of the Indian Hill Country Club in Winnetka. Survivors include his wife, Jean; two daughters, Ellen and Frances; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Winnetka Congregational Church, 725 Pine St., Winnetka.
