Prized possession: We just bought 80 acres of land around Palm Springs.

Personal heroes: My mother and father and grandmother. They were very good people and I want to be good, because I believe good is good.

People always think I’m: Faith Ford.

If I could do it over, I’d: Be better educated. I quit college after three years.

If I could change one thing about myself: I’d have more physical energy for these boys I have.

My most irrational act: Getting pregnant out of wedlock when I was 27. That wasn’t a choice, though, it was an accident. But I don’t regret it. It turned out to be the greatest move ever.

If I’ve learned one thing in life it’s: Children are the priority.

Most humbling experience: These last four years on “General Hospital.” I started on the show in 1984 and I was a star. Then I left. Now I’m back, but I’m not the star anymore.

The three words that best describe me: Happy, enthusiastic and exhausted.
