Eight condominiums remain at The Beacon Lofts, 927 W. Adams St., in Chicago’s West Loop Gate neighborhood, an Oculus Development community.

Seven of the remaining units are two-bedroom, two-bath plans ranging from 1,577 to 1,840 square feet and priced from $225,900 to $273,900. Five of the units feature private rooftop terraces. Some include mezzanine levels.

The eighth unit is a one-bedroom plus den with one bath. It is priced at $141,900 and has 1,106 square feet.

Standard amenities include oak hardwood floors in the foyer, kitchen, living and dining rooms, individual balconies or private terraces (per plan), marble and granite finishes, track lighting, high ceilings and individual washer/dryer hookups.

Each two-bedroom residence will include a marble floor in the master bath and granite countertops and island in the kitchen as standard features.

Beacon Lofts also will include an Internet connection, on-site storage, and an exercise room.

Outdoor parking spaces are $9,800 each, and indoor parking is $16,800 a space.

The West Loop Gate area is bounded by Lake and Halsted Streets, the Eisenhower Expressway and Ashland Avenue.

– More townhomes are planned at Kinzie Park, a $120-million community now under way in Chicago’s Fulton River District.

The 6.5-acre community at 500 W. Kinzie St. is a joint venture of The Habitat Company and Enterprise Development Corp.

Plans for the site originally included 76 townhouses, one 186-unit high-rise condominium building, and two mid-rise condominium buildings with approximately 90 units.

Due to demand, plans have been redrafted to eliminate one of the mid-rises to make room for 12 to 14 more townhouses.

Townhomes at Kinzie Park feature two or three bedrooms, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths, one- or two-car garages, and range from 2,100 to 3,966 square feet. They are priced from about $350,000 to $859,500.

Condominium layouts have one bedroom and one bath, one bedroom plus den, or two bedrooms and two baths. They range from 839 to 1,440 square feet and are priced from $154,500 to $289,500.

The high-rise residences are one, two, or three-bedroom units with one to three baths and 740 to 2,355 square feet. They are priced from $120,500 to $513,500.

The Kinzie Park sales center, located at 400 W. Hubbard St., is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

– Georgian Court in Addison, a Sundance Homes community, has three single-family homes and 20 townhouses remaining for sale.

Townhomes are priced from $154,990 to $167,990 and single-family homes from $206,885 to $228,350.

Four multi-level townhome designs range from 1,300 to 1,400 square feet with two or three bedrooms, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths, formal living and dining areas, and attached two-car garages. Two models are open for viewing.

The three remaining single-family homes range from 1,736 to 2,107 square feet with three or four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, formal living and dining rooms, central air conditioning, family rooms with fireplace, oak railings, nine-foot first-floor ceilings, super baths in master suites, decks, basements, brick exteriors, and attached two-car garages.

– Buyers who purchase one of the remaining townhomes at Kensington Station, a Gammonley Group development, can save $5,000 in options and upgrades. Five of the 23 homes are still available at the LaGrange community.

The 2,000-square-foot townhouse design, priced from $270,000, includes two or three bedrooms, formal living and dining room, kitchen with breakfast bar, and attached two-car garage. A model is open for viewing.

The first floor features a formal living room with bay window and fireplace and an adjacent formal dining room with access to the balcony.

Upstairs, the master bedroom suite features a bay window, walk-in closet and access to a private bath with double-bowl sink, oversized soaking tub and separate shower.

An additional bedroom with walk-in closet is served by a full bath. A laundry room and linen closet complete the second floor. The home also includes a finished basement with den and optional fireplace with crawl space.

The five remaining homes also include a 12-by-22-foot bonus room.

– Preconstruction sales are underway at Turnberry in the Town of Two Rivers, a Kipling Homes community in southwest suburban Ottawa planned for 114 single-family homes on 55 acres.

Prices for the 26 homes in phase one range from $99,900 to $134,900.

The six ranch, two-story and tri-level plans range from 1,200 to 2,055 square feet and feature two to four bedrooms and 1 1/2 to two baths.
