The city of Chicago should be proud of its police department.
From June 5 to June 8 officers John DeBartolo and Robert J. Battalini from Area 3 of the Bureau of Investigative Services led a team of other excellent officers that assisted my sister and niece in the search for my other niece. They were always supportive, communicative, diligent, compassionate and assertive in a moment in which feelings of despair, abandonment and helplessness would ordinarily overcome two women in a new city when facing the disappearance of a dear one.
The professionalism of these officers assured my sister and niece, and us here in Puerto Rico, that they were in good hands and that everything would be solved soon and happily.
May God bless them, their families and all the people who helped in the search.
