Richard Anson Morrison, 51, a former Flossmoor resident, died of pancreatic cancer Thursday in his home in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. He was executive vice president of Maine Tire for the past 14 years. The company, a manufacturer of industrial tires, plans to honor Mr. Morrison by sponsoring a college scholarship in his name. Before moving to Maine, he and his family lived for six years in Flossmoor, where he was the national account sales manager for Allis-Chalmers. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a graduate of the University of Maryland. Mr. Morrison was a Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as a member of the 101st Airborne Division and as a Ranger with Special Forces. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Pauline; two daughters, Sarah and Ellen; his mother, Grayce Morrison Hopkins; and a brother, Robert. Mass will be said Monday in Cape Elizabeth.
