Not to get anybody bent out of joint, but Crazy Bones are being promoted as a craze sweeping the world – and we’re not sure whether to bounce on them or not.
Crazy Bones by Toy Craze are odd-shaped game pieces with goofy faces. Kids can collect the characters – 60, from Angel to Wow – or they can play games similar to marbles or jacks. We found the games fun, though frustrating (the shapes make the pieces bounce in all directions). But the faces are dim – they’re not as wild as the stickers that come with ’em. Some Scoop Troopers are testing the Bones, and we’ll get back to you. If you try ’em, let us know. Dig up Crazy Bones at Zany Brainy, FAO Schwarz or Toys “R” Us; a pack of four is about $2.
