June 19 commemorated AIDS Compassion Day. During my lunch hour I went for a stroll along Michigan Avenue and came upon the window displays of the AIDS Quilt in Saks Fifth Avenue.
What I saw moved me quite deeply. Thank you, Saks; you have shown us, the merchants along Michigan Avenue and the city of Chicago, that you truly are a class act.
