A 20-year-old Wilmette man was charged Tuesday night with felony possession of 100 grams of cannabis when an officer stopped the 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix he was driving in the 1200 block of West Dundee Road, authorities said. Jordan Fenchel, of 401 Wilshire Drive West, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Police stopped the car because Fenchel allegedly was playing excessively loud music. During questioning, the officer determined that Fenchel was wanted on an outstanding Cook County warrant for obstructing a court order, authorities said. A subsequent search of the vehicle’s trunk turned up the drugs, police said.
