Jack D. Caldwell, 87, of Villa Park died Monday in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Born in Chicago, Mr. Caldwell was a project engineer for a steel company and the founder and past president of the Oak Park Tennis Club. Survivors include a son, John; a daughter, Katherine; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
