Police are investigating after an explosive device was found Friday inside an unoccupied car parked at the Park Department office, 8455 W. 103rd St. Fireworks were taped to a can of butane gas, police said. The driver of the vehicle was located and told police he planned to drive to an open field and blow up the device. No charges were filed, and police did not identify the driver.
