Dennis Perry Sr., 65, of Wheaton, a retired microbiology professor at Northwestern University Medical School, died Saturday in Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. He earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Southern Illinois University and a doctorate from Northwestern. He is survived by his wife, Fannie; four sons, Dennis Jr., Douglas, Daren and Deric; his stepmother, Lydia Ann; three sisters, Bernice Dorse, Marilyn Brown and Velletta Howse; a brother, Willie Jr.; and a grandchild. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Michael Church, 315 W. Illinois St., Wheaton, where mass will be said at 10 a.m.
